We got tickets to see Disney on Ice at Rupp arena. Ryan took the day off work and the three of us headed out. (Only one of us chose to dress up for the event.)
We bought some cotton candy with at crown at the show. It was definitely the highlight of the wait time before the show started.
Showtime! Disney does a pretty good show. One of the fun things was the use of overhead wires for "floating through the air" effects.

Entertainment where you least expected it: Anastasia and Drizella. They were funny! Lots of planned falls, which must be a lot harder than it appears. And lots of pushing and shoving, always funny on ice.
When I asked Rachael what her favorite part was, she said, "At the end, when all the princes and princesses are wearing white and gold and they all get married."
Rachael spent the entire show perched on the edge of her seat. It was so much fun!
She wants to go to Disney on Ice every time it comes to Lexington.
