Friday
Ryan took the day off of work and we went to San Francisco. We had lunch by the sea lions and went to the aquarium. Afterward we dropped her off in Brentwood to spend the night with her cousins.

Saturday
Aunt Lorie fixed her a special birthday breakfast. Then everyone met at Chuck E Cheese in Dublin for an exciting (and noisy!) birthday lunch. Afterward we came home and had cake and ice cream, then the boys stayed the night for part 2 of the weekend long slumber party for the kids.

Rachael's birthday cake. She had a very specific plan this year for her cake, she even drew me a picture. She got an American Girl doll for her birthday and lots of fun clothes and things to go with it. Grandma Ricks even made lots of fun matching clothes!
Inside the cake. That was a surprise for her!
Slumber party
Sunday
For my first Sunday as the Primary chorister, I got to lead the Senior Primary in singing a birthday song to Rachael. So much fun! (No picture - it's church!)
Monday
Because Rachael had the day off (President's Day) we went to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and shopping at the mall. She spent the birthday money she got from her Uncle Kirk at the Lego store.
Pasta and mac & cheese bites. Yum!
Birthday Sundae!
(She picked off all the chocolate chips and ate two bites of ice cream.)

Tuesday
Last day of celebrating - we took cake pops to school.
Happy 8th Birthday to our Princess! Can't wait for her baptism.
